Colored lightweight foam boards for the highest aesthetic demands!
Composition:
Sandwich panel with plastic-coated cellulose cardboard top layers and a panel core of light grey PUR hard foam.
Coloured KAPA® lightweight foam boards are optionally available as:
- KAPA® color: black on both sides or grey on both sides in 5 mm thickness
- KAPA® bi-color: one side black / one side grey in 3 and 5 mm thickness
Applications:
KAPA® color boards are ideal for presentations, signs, foil applications, passepartouts or as background boards for creative work. The coloured lightweight foam boards are often used by model makers, architects and designers.
Further processing:
The coloured, glossy and homogeneous surfaces are suitable for direct digital printing and screen printing. Simple cutting (with a cutter/knife or digital cutting plotter) enables creative free forms. KAPA® plast quality is used as the base panel. Thus the boards are rigid and have a very good flatness, ideal for trouble-free further processing.

Further features:
- Cover layers can be processed with commercially available adhesives and colors.
- The foam core is resistant to almost all solvents and adhesives. For adhesives containing toluene, please carry out tests beforehand.
- Service temperature continuous Td = -20 to 100°C; short-term Tk = up to 160°C
- pH value: 8.3 (acid-free)
- Meets the following standards: DIN ISO 9001:2008, DIN ISO 14001:2004 & BS OHSAS 18001:2007
