Extremely rigid paperboard (flame retardant)

Composition:

Paper board with white paper cover layers on both sides and an aluminium foil. The innovative production of the dust-free core in the form of sinusoidal honeycombs gives SWEDBOARD® excellent strength and extreme stability - even compared to other honeycomb panels.

Applications:

SWEDBOARD® Fibre FR (Flame Retardant Paper Boards) is primarily used for 3D constructions with V-cut, such as product-carrying POS displays or technical applications. It is also suitable for small and large format signs, ceiling hangers, stands, contour-cut logos, as well as in shop windows, store construction, and at trade show booths, especially in areas where fire resistance classification is required.

Further processing:

The white, wood-free coated outer layers are excellent for digital and screen printing. The PE coating prevents cracking in all directions during bending, which is why the boards are often used for V-cuts and contour cutting. Easy cutting (by digital cutter or cutter knife) allows creative free forms. As a special feature, screwing into these honeycomb panels is possible. The screws must have an oversized thread and have been specially developed for the SWEDBOARD® core. We will be happy to provide you with delivery options on request.

Sustainability:

SWEDBOARD® Fibre FR is FSC®-certified and fully recyclable. Therefore, it can be disposed of easily and cost-effectively. By using renewable and responsibly sourced raw materials, this paperboard is a sustainable alternative to plastic boards (e.g. rigid PVC foam boards, polystyrene).

As a distributor of SWEDBOARD® Fibre FR rigid paperboard we offer the panels in 16 mm thickness and the stock sizes 1570 x 3050 mm.
