SMART-X® (Lightweight polystyrene boards)
Made of impact-resistant polystyrene for outdoor use up to approx. 2 years!
Composition:
Solid plastic panel with top layers of weather and UV-resistant, impact-resistant solid polystyrene (HIPS) and a core of foamed polystyrene (often used as an alternative to FOREX). Covered with protective film on one side. SMART-X® is completely insensitive to moisture and therefore suitable for outdoor use up to approx. 2 years.
Applications:
SMART-X® is used for demanding applications – indoor and outdoor – in the field of visual communication for advertising signs, displays, hanging signs, POS / POP displays. Customers include furniture stores, DIY stores, food chains and service providers from the event marketing sector.
Further processing:
SMART-X® is extremely light and at the same time very stable (no distortion), completely insensitive to moisture and UV-stable. The fine, even surface structure is ideal for direct digital printing and screen printing. The boards can be laminated, sawed and milled.
The panels are made of 100% polystyrene. Due to the pure material compound, the plastic panels are 100% recyclable. Over 95% of the production waste generated during manufacture is collected and recycled. SMART-X is an alternative product to PVC rigid foam boards, MDF, chipboard etc.
