    Product description

KAPA plast lightweight foam boards with bright white core for direct printing!
    Composition:

Sandwich panels with moisture-repellent outer layers of plastic-coated cellulose cardboard and a panel core of bright white rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam.
Alternatively KAPA plast is also available with white foam: KAPA plast White Core.

    Applications:

In addition to foil applications, the lightweight foam panels are also suitable as a base panel (back plate) for design work in model making, trade fair construction & stage set construction. Furthermore, the panels can be used for advertising signs and as a decoupling panel for 3D presentation solutions such as logos and lettering. The surfaces can be wiped off and are often used as a pin board in schools & museums, for example.

    Further processing:

KAPA plast can be printed excellently in digital direct printing and screen printing. Due to the primer finish of the bright white top layers, excellent ink adhesion and surface tension is achieved, the high degree of whiteness ensures a brilliant and intensive print image. Due to the coated surfaces KAPA plast can be used for outdoor advertising for a very short time (approx. 1-2 days). If the edges are protected e.g. by profile strips, they can also be used a little longer. KAPA plast lightweight boards are ideal for further processing: Simple cutting (with a cutter or digital cutting plotter) enables creative free forms.

    (Special) formats & free-forms:

As a leading KAPA distributor we offer the entire KAPA plast range in all thicknesses and sizes.
We are happy to cut individual (special) sizes such as 1400 x 1500 or 1400 x 2000 mm and freeforms according to your specifications: cutting service.
