KAPA® plast White Core (Lightweight foam boards)

Lightweight foam boards with bright white core for direct printing!
Composition:

Sandwich panels with moisture-repellent outer layers of plastic-coated cellulose cardboard and a panel core of bright white rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam. A large part of the paper surfaces used for the production of KAPA® plast White Core are already FSC®-certified. Alternatively KAPA® plast White Core is also available with grey foam: KAPA® plast.

Applications:

In addition to foil applications, the lightweight foam panels are also suitable as a base panel (back plate) for design work in model making, trade fair construction and stage set construction. Furthermore, the panels can be used for advertising signs and as a decoupling panel for 3D presentation solutions such as logos and lettering. The surfaces can be easily wiped and are often used as pin boards in schools and museums, for example.

Further processing:

KAPA® plast White Core is ideal for digital direct printing and screen printing. Due to the primer finish of the bright white top layers, excellent ink adhesion and surface tension is achieved, the high degree of whiteness ensures a brilliant and vivid printed image. Thanks to its coated surfaces KAPA® plast White Core can be used for outdoor advertising for a limited time (approx. 1-2 days). If the edges are protected e.g. by profile strips, they can be used a little longer. KAPA® plast White Core lightweight boards are ideal for further processing: Simple cutting (with a cutter/knife or digital cutting plotter) enables creative free forms.
