KAPA® tech (Lightweight foam boards)

First flame-retardant lightweight foam board!

Composition:

Flame retardant sandwich panel with top layers of white lacquered aluminium and light-coloured inlay of PUR hard foam. Protective film on both sides.

Applications:

KAPA tech boards are ideal for 3-dimensional applications indoors and outdoors for the production of advertising displays at POS/POP, for advertising boards and visual communication and as a lamination board for large-format prints and photos. In addition, this sandwich panel with good insulating properties is used in the field of transportation, for industrial applications in lift cabins, ceiling constructions, motor homes and shipbuilding, as well as a base panel in the field of furniture construction, shop fitting and exhibition stand construction.

Further processing:

The white coated top layers are suitable for direct digital printing as well as screen printing. KAPA tech can be easily processed with conventional saws and milling machines for wood and metal and its very good stability enables distortion-free laminations. The boards are weather-resistant and moisture-resistant and are therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

• Cover layers can be processed with commercially available adhesives and colors.
• The foam core is resistant to many solvents and adhesives.
• Service temperature continuous Td = -30 to 70°C; short-term Tk = up to 120°C
